Who We Are

Who We Are

CITIZENS of CHOCOLATE is a collective of mostly Panamanian indigenous women cultivating/harvesting/processing cocoa into chocolate, using bio-sustainable farming that protects the tropical rain forest flora and fauna, while producing income benefiting whole village economy. We grow communities… and chocolate.

The main goal of the collective Citizens of Chocolate is to participate in environmentally sustainable land use that meets the economic need of people and the protection of the canopy and wild life of Bocas del Toro’s rainforest, in Panama, Central America.
