Join a group of Ngäbe indigenous women as they share their botanical secrets in Bocas del Toro, Panama!

Island hop from Isla Colon across beautiful Almirante Bay to an Ngäbe village on Isla Cristobal. Keep an eye out for dolphins.

Meet members of the San Cristobal Women’s Collective and hear their story.

Explore the lush biodiversity of the rainforest & search for lumber trees, roof palm, natural dyes, sloths, and poison dart frogs.

Discover traditional medicinal & dye plants and learn about their uses.

Eat a typical tribal lunch of fresh fish or chicken and rainforest produce like dasheen, primitivo, poison ivy, coconut, and butchu. Vegetarians welcome.

Watch how traditional chakara bags are carefully handmade using only plant materials.

Tour Schedule & General Information

Departure from the municipal market dock in Bocas Town at 9:30 am, return at 3:30pm.

Remember to bring a rain jacket, closed shoes, long pants, insect repellent, sunscreen, camera, drinking water, extra cash and sense of adventure.
